Devices
Register, list, and manage your machines.
A device represents a physical machine where Claude Code is running. claude-sync uses devices to track which sessions exist on which machines, enabling you to pull from specific devices and understand your sync state across your infrastructure.
Registering a Device
Before syncing, you need to register the current machine as a device:

The device name is optional. If you don't provide one, claude-sync will use your system hostname. The device ID is stored in your local configuration file and used to identify this machine in all sync operations.
Listing Devices
View all devices registered to your account:

Removing a Device
Remove a device from your account:
Renaming a Device
Update the display name of the current device:
The device ID remains the same, only the friendly name is updated. This change is reflected across all your devices.
Who Am I
Display information about the currently authenticated user and device:
